Sekokwane Driving School

The Sekokwane Driving School has received comprehensive funding to host and school, 18 - Mhluzi Community Organisation residents with driving lessons, and to ensure that they all obtain their Code (C-1) Driver’s Licenses. This programme is not aimed solely at preparing - individuals for the mining industry, but - is also aimed as a means of empowering the Community members in the area with a basic life tool.

 

Benmash Trading (“trading as Khumo Laundry Services”)

During 2015, Yoctolux Collieries (Pty) Limited procured Khumo Laundry Services to provide basic laundry services to the Yoctolux Collieries Coal Mine.

In 2016, Yoctolux Collieries (Pty) Limited, realising the growth potential of the enterprise, elected to support the initiative through the provision of funding to enable this expansion.

Khumo received funding from Yoctolux towards the purchase of an industrial Washing Machine, two industrial Drying Machines, an industrial Iron, and the enrolment of the Director and Manager into a Business Management and Operations Management Study Programme, respectively.


This initiative has aided in Khumo establishing a secondary branch in the Mhluzi Township.
